Conference overview
For over a decade, the British International School of Cairo has been hosting an annual Model UN conference. BISCMUN brings together hundreds of students, teachers and guests from schools across Egypt, giving delegates, chairs and directors the chance to sharpen debate, public speaking, leadership and diplomatic skill.
In past conferences we were honoured to host guest speakers from the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), the Food and Agriculture Organisation of the United Nations (FAO), and the Arab League.
BISCMUN gives young people a seat at the table — simulating the real United Nations so students can draft resolutions aimed at confronting the challenges of our time.
